Cooking Classes-Hands On Participation

The classes take a hands-on approach to cooking, combining a relaxed, congenial atmosphere with personal instruction that guides you through every stage of recipe preparation. Julie and her special guest chefs provide a thorough overview of each recipe. In addition to learning recipes and techniques, you’ll gain an in-depth understanding of theories that will create a strong foundation for your culinary repertoire. Learning the basic cooking techniques provides you with the confidence you need to tackle a recipe successfully. Teaching technique is important to me, once you understand the techniques it will allow you to cook with greater pleasure and success.

Whether you’re a veteran cook or just learning your way around the kitchen, these classes will help you develop your skills – and you'll have a great time doing it.

ST HELENA MARKET TOUR AND COOKING CLASS

Cancelled due to the recovery from the wildfires.

The fires have been contained in the Napa Valley and the evacuation orders have been lifted! We have been promised some rain this week, which should help to put out whatever is still burning.

I care deeply for this community I have called home for more than 10 years now, and hope to count on your continued support in the upcoming recovery of this beautiful valley.

I am so grateful for the first responders and crews working with passion to save the wine country. They are heroes. Our community is strong and we will be work together to get through this. To help the recovery, I’ve donated to Napa Valley Community Disaster Relief Fund and encourage you to do the same. And naturally I am supporting the community by continuing to buy Napa and Sonoma wines.

My home is undamaged and I expect to resume hosting classes in mid-November. If you have any questions please contact me at Julie@CookingwithJulie.com.
