Cancellation Policy, Privacy Stmt & Terms of Use

TERMS and CONDITIONS

By completing and submitting the electronic order form (or proceeding through the 'checkout process') you are making an offer to purchase services which, if accepted by us, will result in a binding contract. Submitting an electronic order form or completing the checkout process does not constitute our acceptance of your order.Only a confirmation letter from Cooking with Julie confirms your order for a cooking class. This does not apply to culinary tours.

Despite our best efforts, a small number of classes/tours on the Cooking with Julie web site may be priced incorrectly. If the correct price of a class/tour is higher than our stated price, we will, at our discretion, either contact you before processing your registration at the correct price or cancel your order and notify you of such cancellation.

We generally do not charge your credit card until after your order has been entered into our reservation system.

Class fees must be paid at the time of registration; as classes are filled on a first-come first-served basis.

We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule classes. In the very rare case of cancellation, students will be notified, and full refunds will be given.

CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICIES

Individual Classes (not private classes see below)

You may reschedule as long as you notify us 14 days prior to your class. To cancel and request a full refund notify Cooking with Julie by email 14 days prior to your class date. For example, if the class is on November 14th at 8:00 a.m. you must let us know 14 days before or by October 31st at 8:00 a.m. Send via email your refund request to julie@cookingwithjulie.com. Refunds are subject to a 10% fee based on the full price of the event.

There are no credits or refunds for less than 14 day’s notice unless we are able to fill your spot. We encourage you to send someone in your place should you be unable to attend class. If you sign up for a class and do not show up for any reason the entire class fee is non-refundable, and no future credit will be given there are no exceptions. There is limited space available in each class; plus the classes involve materials costs and considerable preparation time for your class. When a seat is empty that could have been filled, we feel this is only fair.

Travel Insurance
Travel insurance is the best way to protect your investment. Life throws curve balls and these unforeseen circumstances never happen at the right time. Travel insurance can provide reimbursement for non-refundable trip payments and deposits in case you need to cancel your trip.

Private Classes and Team Building events CANCELLATION POLICY

For private classes and team building events, we are not able to reschedule, refund or give credit for cancellations less than 21 days prior to the class/event, unless we are able to fill your spot.

You may reschedule or cancel and request a full refund by email as long as you notify us 21 days prior to your event/class. For example, if the event/class is on November 21st at 8:00 a.m. you must let us know 21 days before or by October 31st at 8:00 a.m. Send your refund request to julie@cookingwithjulie.com.

Refunds can only be made in the same method as originally paid, whether, check, credit card or gift certificate, minus a 10% cancellation fee based on the full price of the event.

Culinary Tours CANCELLATION POLICY

All cancellations regardless of reason must be done in writing (email: Julie@CookingwithJulie.com or mail: Cooking with Julie, 1039 La Quinta Ct., Napa, CA 94559). Regardless of the reason, cancellations result in costly charges from travel and hotel providers covering penalties and fees incurred by canceling confirmed bookings. Therefore the fees listed herein will apply. Please refer to your Terms and Conditions that were included with your reservation form.

Travel Insurance
Travel insurance is the best way to protect your investment. Life throws curve balls and these unforeseen circumstances never happen at the right time. Travel insurance can provide reimbursement for non-refundable trip payments and deposits in case you need to cancel your trip.

Gift certificates are NOT redeemable for cash.

Please understand we cannot make exceptions.

MINORS 18 and YOUNGER

All minors 18 years old and younger must be accompanied by an adult unless the class is specifically for children.

In the interest of health and safety, we ask all students to wear long pants, closed shoes with rubber soles, and to tie back long hair. Unless otherwise stated, you are welcome to all you like while you are here, but food does not leave the school.
